SBM-100 Scale: accurate, cheap and light

The SBM-100 Scale is an excellent and economical option to perform accurate measurements of any object. Its 100 g maximum capacity allows it to have a 0.01 precision, guaranteeing an accurate weight measure of whatever product you want.

By buying this product, you get an adjustable silicone bowl/container that can be used as a base in which to perform measurements. In order to subtract the weight of the container while weighing the added product, press the POWER/TARE button after placing the container on the scale.

On the other hand, the scale already comes pre-calibrated, however, it is recommended to check it from time to time (the manufacturer doesn’t specify how many times, although the average is once a year). Thus, certified weight must be used rather than any other object.

Function of the buttons

• MODE: For changing the unit of measurement.
• POWER/TARE: For turning on/off the scale. Also resets the display to 0 and activates the TARE mode (to subtract the weight of the container and only measure the selected object). 

Situations to avoid

• Don’t weigh an object near radio frequencies.
• Don’t place the scale on uneven or unstable surfaces.
• Don’t use the scale in areas with high humidity levels or extreme temperatures.
