Tanita 1475T Scale

The 1475T is Tanita's most powerful pocket scale. It measures up to 1200 grams with a tiny margin of error (1g from 0 to 500g and 2g from 500 to 1200g), reaching heights never seen before in a product of this size. In addition, it has a protective case that also serves as a base for weighing objects.

Besides, its LCD display clearly shows any measurements it makes, as well as the different error codes, low battery and mode change. To switch between grams and ounces, this scale has a MODE button, while its TARE system allows several objects to be weighed consecutively without influencing the above parameters.

Method of use

1. Place the scale on a hard, smooth surface in a horizontal position.
2. Press the ON/TARE button. The display will show the number "8888" for two seconds. After this, it will change to 0, indicating that it is ready for use.
3. Place the object on the scale. The display will show the weight as long as it does not exceed 1200g. In this case, the display will show "EEEE".

Additional explanations

• TARE SYSTEM: After switching on the scale, place the case on top of the platform and press the ON/TARE button. The display will return to "0". In this way, several objects can be weighed individually at the same time or a surface can be placed under the object to be measured without affecting the weight of the surface.
• Automatic switch-off: When the scale has finished weighing an object, it will automatically switch off after three minutes if no button is subsequently pressed.
• Battery replacement: When the battery is near the end of its life, "LO" will be shown on the display. Turn off the scale and replace it immediately.
• Change mode: To change mode (in case you have purchased the g/oz version) the ON/TARE and OFF buttons must be pressed simultaneously.

Instructions, warnings and safety precautions

• Do not disassemble the scale.
• Do not subject the scale to strong vibrations and do not expose it to strong sunlight.
• A sudden change in temperature will affect the accuracy of the scale. In this case, wait 2 hours for the scale to get used to the new environment.
• Do not pour water or liquids into the unit.
• Clean the device regularly with a damp cloth.
• Keep the unit away from heating appliances, ovens, ceramic hobs, etc...
• Keep the scale in a dry, cool and dust-free place.
• In case of constant errors or faults, replace the battery before contacting customer service. If necessary, put the unit and its battery back in its box and prepare it for transport.
• Do not place heavy objects on the scale when it is switched off.
