Californian Indica by Sensi Seeds Origins and Hybrid

Feminized California Indica by Sensi Seeds is a complex hybrid with very special characteristics since it inherited the best traits of both indicas and sativas, which makes it the perfect option for all kinds of growers. It comes from a cross between a vigorous Californian sativa with the result of crossing Northern Lights x Hash plant. One of its strongest points is the plants structure: it grows a lot of branches with superior strength which makes this plant able to put up with heavier harvest effortlessly.

Growing California Indica Indoor Growing

Indoors, this is a fast and simple to grow plant; it doesn’t grow too tall and the distance between nodes is medium, meaning that buds will be properly aired only to close up over the last few weeks of the flowering period. Your crop area will be full to the brim with 9 plants per m2 since it will mainly try to grow its branches wider. Therefore, we don’t recommend planting any more plants than 9 per m2 (unless you intend to set them to flower straight away). Grown under 600W lights, such as a Sylvania SHP-TS Flowering Bulb, you can get up to 450g after just 8 weeks flowering.

Growing California Indica Outdoor Growing

If you grow this strain outdoors we recommend using fungicides to avoid any nasty surprises. Indeed, although its Californian genetic makeup gives it increased resistance to fungi, the Afghan side cause buds to be extremely dense and more likely to be infected by them. It has a short flowering period, and can be ready by the end of September, giving up to 700g per plant.

California Indica by Sensi Seeds Flavor and Aroma

The flavor of this strain can vary depending on the phenotype; some of them have a more earthy taste, while others taste a lot like orange. The third phenotype is the most common one, and it combines both types of flavor which makes up for a kind of sour orange, liqueur-like or, in some cases, chocolate-like taste. It also has a varying effect; at the beginning it is smooth, but it gets increasingly more intense, little by little, to end up in a relaxing and heavy feeling.
