Super Skunk by Sensi Seeds is a plant that has a lot of history to it – it was officially released onto the market in the 90s after 10 years of extremely hard work in order to find the perfect combination between Skunk #1 and an Afghan that was used to create the first Skunk strains. Get ready to grow an extremely resinous plant. This was one of the first hybrids grown indoors.

This strain was brought onto the market around three years after the famous Shiva Skunk, and growers at the time were astonished. The breeders at the seed bank were looking for a more commercial-looking plant that was capable of surprising even experienced Dutch smokers.

How to Grow Super Skunk Indoors

Indoors this strain yields an enormous amount of flowers thanks to the fact that it grows extremely stable and nice and balanced. Regardless of how many you plant, each and every one of them will look and grow the same. The resin in this plant has a sativa touch too it, making it a bit sweeter. You can get up to 500g with around 10 plants per square meter after just 8 flowering weeks. We recommend growing it in soil or coco coir in order to give your plants the best possible nutrients.

How to Grow Super Skunk Outdoors

As the flowering period gets on, you’ll be able to see your plants being covered in a thick, sticky layer of resin. This powerful, strong plant can put up with a wide variety of stressful issues, and it also does well against fungi and bacteria. If you manage to keep it fed all the way to the end of the flowering period, you can harvest up to 700g per plant. It should be ready to harvest toward mid-September, although depending on the phenotype this can take up to two more weeks. Use a Lumagny Professional 60x 80x 100x Microscope to observe trichomes.

It gives a strong effect when smoked, and its smoke is also quite dense so keep a drink nearby. It has an earthy flavor with a sweet aftertaste just like Skunk #1.
