Which substances does it detect?

This test detects the presence (not the quantity) of the following substances:

How does the LSD Test Kit work?

The kit works through a chemical condensation reaction. The ampoule contains Ehrlich's reagent (p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde in ethanol with hydrochloric acid), which reacts with indole compounds producing a characteristic color.

When a small amount of the sample is added to the ampoule, a color change occurs that can be compared to the included chart to identify the type of substance present.

Instructions for Use

• Carefully break the glass ampoule.
• Add a small amount of the sample to be analyzed (e.g., powder crumbs, a fragment of blotter paper, or a few drops if liquid).
• Place the plastic cap and gently shake to mix the compounds.
• Observe the color change and compare it with the included results chart. It's recommended to perform the test under intense white light against a white background.

Result Interpretation

The mixture may turn different colors:

• Purple or violet: Indicates the presence of LSD (acid).
• Orange-red: Suggests the presence of other psychedelic indoles like DMT or psilocybin.
• No visible change: No detectable traces of indole compounds. This does not rule out the presence of other active substances.
