Description
Orange Bud by Dutch Passion is one of the best preserved and most awarded Skunk versions of all time. With a 75% sativa percentage and created in the 80s, Orange Bud is easy to grow, stable, powerful, tolerant, and good for both indoor and outdoor cultivation.
It comes from a selection of Skunk, very productive and which at the end of the cycle will give us a very good production of hard, resin-filled buds with very characteristic orange tones that give it its name.
The first thing you notice about the Orange Bud strain is its sweet flavor with very distinct citrus notes, reminiscent of a ripe orange or even a nectarine, depending on the phenotype. This fruity profile intensifies in the smoke, which is dense, potent, and very cerebrally stimulating.
Orange Bud stands out for offering a lively and sociable cerebral effect. Its high is joyful, stimulating, and puts you in a good mood almost instantly. With a THC ranging between 15% and 20%, it is perfect for those who lead an active lifestyle and want a boost to face the day — or extend the night — with energy. Its citrus terpene profile not only tastes wonderful but also leaves a positive and lasting sensation, with a smile that's hard to hide.
If you're thinking of growing Orange Bud indoors, you'll be glad to know that this strain is ready in about 7-8 weeks from the start of flowering. The flowers it develops are elongated and somewhat thin, but surprisingly heavy thanks to their density and the enormous amount of resin they generate. That's why it works wonderfully in SoG-type crops, where it's advisable to put them directly on a 12/12 light cycle from the beginning.
Outdoors, Orange Bud behaves like a true all-rounder. It's a resistant plant, capable of adapting easily to any corner, from cold and rainy areas to warmer regions. Its tolerance to fungi makes it a very safe option, even in humid climates where other strains might suffer. In this environment, it will be ready around late October and can yield up to 1 kg per plant of dense buds.

It can yield up to 600 g/m² indoors and exceed 1 kg per plant outdoors, provided it receives good light and proper care.
Its aromatic profile is sweet, citrusy, and fruity, with nuances reminiscent of ripe orange or nectarine, especially when smoked or vaporized.
It offers a cerebral, sociable, and stimulating effect, ideal for active moments or social interaction. It leaves a positive and energetic sensation without being overwhelming.
