History of Atlantis Truffles

Atlantis Truffles were discovered by the state of Georgia, in the USA. Its scientific name is Tampanensis Georgia, it is colloquially known as the “Fruit of Utopia” and has always been very sought after by mycological experts, as it can only be found in that state and some regions in Arkansas.

Initially, this variety was recognized as Psilocybe Cubensis Mexican, although it was later discovered that Atlantis was a Psilocybe Tampanensis, a type of fungus with different origins.

Psilocybe Atlantis Truffles effects and duration

First of all, let’s make it clear that these magic truffles are sold for ornamental or mycological study purposes. They are not suitable for consumption under any circumstances.

The accidental ingestion of these truffles could cause the following effects:

• Lights, colors and altered visual experiences
• Very pronounced visual effects
• Introspection and exhaustive analysis of the ego.
• Enhanced creativity

These effects will start 15-45 minutes after its accidental consumption and last between 3-6 hours.

Conservation method

• Truffles can be stored in their original unopened packaging in the fridge for up to one week.
• Once open, the truffles lose their properties in a maximum of three days.
• If you want to preserve them for longer, dry them. This way, they’ll retain their properties for approximately 2 years (inside an airtight container stored in a fresh, dry and dark place).
• Remember that psilocybin content is different in dry and fresh truffles.
