These fantastic mini shovels can be used to help you get your usual gardening chores done; transplants, cuttings, digging holes, moving plants around. If you’re a very outdoorsy person and you like to go camping, this shovel is perfect; you can use it to make the hole for your fire, make a channel for water around your tent or even use it to hammer in your pegs. Straight tip scissors are also a must have.

Multi-functional shovel:

This small shovel consists of two parts that you screw together; the handle and the head. The head of the shovel has an 11 by 2 cm concave tip with a hole near the bottom that you can use for various different odd jobs here and there. The shovel is 13 by 10 cm, and it has a serrated edge so that you can cut through thick foliage and on the other side it has what looks like a bottle opener, although it has plenty of other functions. Once it’s all set up, it’s 30 cm long.

How to assemble:

• Remove the handle and the head and screw them together.
• Just below the head there is a screw, which allows you to fix the shovel in an open position.
• There are three total positions in which you can set the head; you can have both the pick and the shovel out and each out on its own, making for comfortably garden chores.
• To do this simply loosen the screw, move the head to the position you’d like it, and tighten the screw again.
• It’s incredibly simple to use.

Handle Shovel:

This shovel is larger than the other one and comes in one fold-up piece. The head has a 15 by 22 cm shovel, and the total length of the shovel when fully extended is around 59 cm, from the top of the handle to the tip of the shovel. It’s a much simpler model, although it’s designed for tougher gardening.

How to assemble:

• Pull the handle out by applying some pressure.
• There’s a screw in the middle that you’ll need to use to fix the shovel in its open, upright position.
• In order to open it up straight, stretch it out to its full length and tighten the screw until it can’t go in any more.
• To have it in an L shape, simply turn the shovel to the side and the handle in the opposite way, and then tighten the screw.
• To put it away, loosen the screw and push the shovel in first then the handle.
