Description

This germination kit contains a small plastic greenhouse/propagator with a see-through lid. It’s designed to fit 24 33mm jiffy cubes. It also comes with a product used to increase germination rates called X-Seed by BAC. You’ll be able to practically guarantee success while also protecting the resulting saplings during their first few days.

To get started, unpack everything in the kit. Grab your seeds and soak them in X-Seed for about 60 minutes. This is all the time your seeds need to absorb all of the goodness. If you keep them in for any longer it might actually damage the seeds, so make sure to set a timer.

Once done, place your jiffy cubes in the slots for them in your mini-greenhouse and hydrate them slightly. This is done by placing the tray in a few centimetres of filtered water (5 Stage Reverse Osmosis Filter) until all of the cubes are nice and humid. Squeeze them lightly to get rid of any excess water. Now, place your seeds horizontally about 0.5mm down into the cubes and cover them. Place the greenhouse on a flat, warm surface in order to speed up the germination process.

Check your jiffy cubes every day; once they’ve lost their dampness, you’ll need to wet them again with an extremely small amount of water. After 7-14 days your seeds should have germinated fully.
