Growing Malibu Indoors

Indoors, under artificial lighting, it’ll take around 90 days to fully flower after flipping the lights. You can get around 400g per square meter with about 9 plants. Due to the fact that it’s 80% sativa, it’ll take its time to flower but that just means that the buds are even more potent. It’ll produce an incredibly sticky layer of resin, and thanks to its The Dark Side genes this strain grows a little bit shorter, much better for indoor growing.

Growing Malibu Outdoors

Outdoors this plant grows quite large, and you’ll definitely need to train its branches if you’re going to use fattener products. If you live somewhere incredibly humid you’ll need to grow somewhere with plenty of airflow or in a greenhouse due to the fact that it flowers so slowly and it usually gets rained on during the end of the flowering period. We recommend using products such as Rhino Skin. These plants grow enormously outdoors when planted in the ground – if you don’t go over the top when watering or using fertilizers, you can grow them up to 3.5m tall and harvest up to 1kg per plant!
