90° Elbow Connector to Create Bends in the Irrigation System

When setting up your automatic watering systems you’ll probably be faced with the issue of putting bends in it, which can’t be done just with normal piping. You’ll need a special union fitting called an elbow in order to bend your piping around your plants.

These parts are designed to deal with high water pressure without breaking or leaking, which could be disastrous for your grow room and grow tent. Use a Waterproof Plastic Sheeting to protect your grow area.

How to attach 90° Elbow connectors:

• The first thing that you’ll need to do is unscrew one side of the fitting and remove the three parts from inside. Make sure to pay close attention to the order that they come out in so that you can put them back in in the same order.
• Place the part that you use removed on your piping.
• Now, you’ll need to place the pieces back in order; the plastic clamp goes on first.
• Next, place the plastic washer and lastly, the rubber grommet.
• The end of the pipe should only come out about 1 cm at the most from the grommet.
• Now, screw the end of the union back on. Don’t force it too much – if it doesn’t seem to be screwing, remove it and put it back on.
• This should be enough to make sure there are no leaks, but you can also use a faucet wrench to make sure that it’s fully secure.
