The HI98115 Hanna pH Meter with replaceable electrode is one of the comfiest pH meters to use. It’s easy to transport and even easier to use. It’s a simple tester that has a long stick with the probe on the end, and the main battery compartment, screen and button on the other side. The electrode/probe is attached to this main part, and you can configure it using the singular button on the meter.

It isn't waterproof, which means you'll need to take special care when using it

This small model isn’t waterproof, so you’ll need to take special care when using it. The probe itself is long, around 10cm long and 0.8mm in diameter along the thinnest part. This particular shape allows you to take measurements from elongated test tubes and other containers that can be hard to get to. Its small size makes it super easy to handle, just make sure you don’t drop it in your nutrient solution. It’s perfect for beginners or those that need a simple yet trustworthy device.

In order to use this pH meter, simply press the button to turn it on. We recommend calibrating it after opening so that it gives you exact results from the get-go. Press the button again until the word CAL appears and then use it with your 7.0 calibration liquid. Once your device lets you know that it’s done, use it with your 4.0 calibration liquid and it should be ready to use. In order to keep your probe under the best possible conditions, it needs to stay humid. Drop a couple of Maintenance Solution drops into the lid before closing it. Clean the probe after every use for the best possible results.
