The Prozono Ozone Generator is an incredibly useful system for controlling odors in your grow room and for purifying the air ¡ - you can even use it in your home, as long as there is an outlet for the ozone to leave your house. These devices are round with small plaques inside with their own transformer; these plaques generate ozone when they receive an electric current and come into contact with oxygen.

Get Rid of 100% Cannabis Odors with the Prozono Generator

In order to make sure that any ozone generated eliminates all odors without directly affecting your plants, you need to place the generator in your extraction/filtration system, right after the extractor with at least 5m ducting before the outlet. If any ozone comes into contact with your plants, their aroma and flavor will begin to deteriorate rapidly, so you really need to make sure that there are no leaks once you’ve set everything up.

How to Use Ozone to Purify Air

This type of ozone system can be used to disinfect and purify entire rooms and grow material. Simply connect the Prozono Ozone Generator in your grow room for at least 5 hours, keeping your air filtration system off and making sure there are no leaks. Once this time has passed, turn the extraction system back on and continue cleaning the room as you normally would.

Replacing Prozono Ozone Generator Easily

Ozone plaques generally have a lifespan between 5000 and 8000 hours, depending on how intensely they’re used. Once you’ve used them up you can easily replace them. We also recommend using a Check Valve Damper between your extraction system and the ozone generator, and when turning them on, turn them on at the same time.
