Krystalica is one of the most impressive and successful seeds that Mandala Seeds has managed to create – it is an amazing hybridization between quality strains from Kerala, India and Nepal. This plant is an amazing improved version of the original Krystalica, making for a more stable and balanced strain. Its aromas and flavors have been improved even more, if that’s possible, adding a hint of strawberry bubblegum, making for an even more exquisite experience. This sativa-dominant strain produces indica-like buds, and an absolutely enormous amount of resin, perfect for hash extraction using a Bubblextractor Hash Washer – hence the name – as well as enormous flowers. It also produces high amounts of THC, so we only recommend consuming this strain for those that have experience consuming potent cannabis.

How to Grow Krystalica Indoors

Krystalica is quite a complete strain that allows pretty much anyone to obtain high quality, hefty yields without having much experience at all. This is thanks to how strong the plant is and how well it adapts to almost any situation thanks to the strains used to create it and the work put in by the breeders at mandala Seeds. Its strength and fast growth definitely comes from its sativa side, and the flowering/bloom period is definitely more from its indica genes, making it one of the best possible strains to grow indoors! In order to get the best possible results from this strain when growing from seed, we highly recommend placing 9 plants per m2, opening up its branches to allow for light flow – even though it has a pretty sturdy structure we still recommend training the branches outwards as its lower leaves are quite large and can cover the lower branches. You can harvest over 450g/m2 after around 70 days.

How to Grow Krystalica Outdoors

When growing these plants outdoors, we recommend doing so in hot, dry climates where it doesn’t tend to rain a lot towards the end of the summer. This is where it’ll do best, growing into a strong, sturdy structure that can deal with rain and humidity if it needs to, but it’s always best to try and avoid these types of environments when growing cannabis, unless the strain is specifically designed for cold climates. If grown in the ground from May onwards, you can grow plants over 2.5m tall, yielding over a kilo per plant. You’ll need to wait until mid-October to harvest.

In regards to aroma and flavor, both are a combination of intense fruity, sweet tones that are kind of like pineapple and bubblegum, with a slight herby, musky hint.
