When choosing between bulbs with different colour temperatures, the type of crop and the genetics of the plants must be taken into account. Both options are valid for a complete cycle without the need to replace them at the time of the phase change, but it is important to underline some details:

• 3000K bulb: its predominance of red light makes it ideal for stimulating resin production. If used for a full cycle, the plants will develop a shorter internodal distance, which is recommended for cuttings or compact plants, such as Indica.
• 4000K bulb: In this case, white light dominates the spectrum, promoting growth during the vegetative phase. However, if this bulb is used throughout plants' life cycle, it is recommended to choose a sativa variety.

Therefore, the 4000 K bulb has a spectrum that favours the growth stage, while the 3000 K is ideal for flowering. However, both can be used for a full cycle, improving results if the right genetics are chosen.

High durability and universal socket

On the other hand, the life of this bulb is over 15,000 hours (approx.), while its PGZ18 socket easily adapts to any type of reflector (in some cases an adapter will be required). Finally, the 315 W LEC lamps perform best in 1 x 1 grow rooms, provided that a distance of 35/40 centimetres is maintained between the luminaire and the end of the plants.
