These bulbs have been designed with different technology to classic bulbs, centering all of their power on a light spectrum between blue and red, which is extremely easy for your plants to absorb; more so than classic bulbs.
Thanks to this new kind of lighting you won’t need to use as much power to get good results, meaning that you can easily produce more grams per watt used.
Depending on the phase your plant is in, certain bulbs work better than others, and you can easily choose which one is perfect for you thanks to the wide variety we have available.
The Master Color 4200k Philips bulb has an e40 thread so you don’t need to get a special socket for it, allowing you to use it with any reflector you have lying around your house. You will need, however, a specific magnetic ballast for LEC bulbs due to how sensible they are; there are specially designed ballasts to make sure that your LEC bulbs last as long as possible.
Green Power by Philips is one of the most efficient LEC lights on the market, guaranteeing the best technology available by one of the leading brands. Unlike the previous model, this one has a normal LEC thread and is made out of the best possible materials. You'll get the most out of your electricity when it comes to light distribution and yield.
Solux lamps are designed to give the largest yields possible. You'll be surprised by the professional quality of your flowers for such a reasonable price. The 315w model comes with a special LEC thread, so you can use it with any LEC reflector or others with an adaptor. The 600w, 630w and 1000w models come with a DE (double ended) thread, so you'll need to use a specific reflector, such as the Gavita Hortistar or Solara by Solux
Innotech bulbs were made using innovative technology, capable of increasing lumens to around 37500, which is incredibly efficient when you take their wattage into account. Many lights don't go over 33000 lumens, so Innotech lamps are perfectly capable of increasing yield.
Keep in mind that all of these LEC lamps are dual spectrum apart from the Solux 10000K 315w and 630w bulbs. These types of numbers are usually more apt for the growth period, however both of them are specifically designed for the flowering period. This is due to extra UV light, which increases resin yield in your plants due to a defensive reaction on their part, increasing yield during the flowering period.
