Ph Down by Growth Technology is a highly concentrated product made of phosphoric acid which will allow you to adjust the acidity level of your nutrient solution whenever necessary.
Description
pH Down by Growth Technology is a pH regulator based on phosphoric acid that you can use to increase the acidity level of your irrigation water. This way, we ensure that our plants can assimilate all the nutrients we apply, as a pH that is too high or too low limits the assimilation of different chemical elements.
If you have a crop where you use many liters of water or a hydro or aero table, pH Down Regulator is your liquid to lower the pH. Being concentrated and having a proportion of 80% acid, it will lower the pH of many liters of water with just a few ml, unlike other pH Down products on the market. It can lower the pH of a 5L jug with drops; however, it is not recommended for smaller waterings like one and a half liter bottles, as it will be difficult to get it right without going overboard, although it's not impossible.
The recommended pH levels for our plants to assimilate the maximum range of nutrients are between 5.5 and 6.8. Above these values, your plants have trouble assimilating macro-nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, or potassium. Conversely, when the pH drops below 5.5, we will have problems with our plants absorbing micro-nutrients, such as copper, iron, or manganese.
Don't forget that it is an acid, and that you should not touch it with your hands, although washing them is sufficient.
It is a highly concentrated pH regulator (81% phosphoric acid) used to lower the pH of irrigation water and facilitate the absorption of nutrients by plants.
Because an unbalanced pH can block the assimilation of essential nutrients. Ideally, the pH should be maintained between 5.5 and 6.8 for plants to correctly absorb macro and microelements.
Its high concentration allows lowering the pH of large volumes with very little product, making it ideal for hydroponic, aeroponic systems, or crops with large tanks.
It is not recommended for very small waterings (less than 1.5 L), as it is easy to overdose. It is a strong product, so it should be handled with care and direct skin contact should be avoided.
If the pH exceeds 6.5, you can start correcting it with small doses. It is key to do it little by little to avoid exceeding the ideal level.
