The GB Lighting 1000W HPS Pro bulb features a 2000K color temperature and offers a considerable chromatic range of reds. Its double ended aspect means that it obtains energy from both sides and because it doesn’t have any inside cables, it doesn’t produce any shadows, which is a fundamental characteristic to use horizontally.

This bulb has an average rated life of 50000 hours, although we recommend its substitution after 20000 hours as its efficiency lowers by 10 % after such hours. It shall be noted that it’s a delicate item made of quartz material,  therefore touching the glass during its installation should be avoided as greasy hands could seriously compromise the bulb’s performance.
