Description
Juanita “La Lagrimosa” CBD by Élite Seeds is a mostly sativa (75%) plant descended from a Reina Madre x México x Afghana. A mix that makes it a strain that can be grown both indoors and outdoors. Its parents provide it with a large amount of resin, so the plant “cries” tears of resin, hence its name.
Furthermore, it is a strain that gives us plants of great medicinal value, as it contains more CBD than THC without affecting the aroma, resin production, or flavor.
This strain from Élite Seeds presents an intense flavor with citrus touches that are by no means unnoticed. In addition, it gives off an intense diesel smell, which makes it truly special.
Regarding the effects, Juanita La Lagrimosa CBD is a strain highly valued medicinally because the high CBD content (8.8%) counteracts the psychoactive effect of THC (6.7%), giving us a medicinal effect without the euphoric, cerebral part or the anxiety that THC can create in some people.
It is ideal as a medicinal plant, to obtain:
And many more benefits that the CBD it contains among its cannabinoids can provide.
Indoors, it should be noted that it has a fast flowering period, in about 70 days from when we change the light hours, it will be more than ready for harvest. In a square meter with a 600w light, we can achieve 350 to 400g of a herb qualified as natural medicine.
Outdoors, it is a plant that stretches a bit to flower, we will have it ready by mid-October, giving specimens of about 500g per seasonal plant. It reaches about 1.5-2m in height, not very tall for being so Sativa, but in return it will give us a large number of side branches. The good thing is that even if it reaches October with rain, it is resistant to powdery mildew, so with a little external help such as prevention with Propolix every 20 days, it will be enough to keep it protected until the end of cultivation.
No, or at least not like a THC-rich strain. It has a high CBD content (8.8%) and a low THC level (6.7%), so the psychoactive effects are very mild or almost imperceptible. It is ideal for those seeking medicinal relief without the typical “high”.
It is especially recommended for cases of insomnia, anxiety, chronic pain, inflammation, or lack of appetite. CBD acts as a relaxant, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory, and can provide a lot of well-being without altering your perception.
Yes, it is a rewarding strain both indoors and outdoors. Indoors, it will be ready in about 70 days after the photoperiod change, and can give you up to 400 g/m² with a 600W light. Outdoors, if you give it basic care, you can harvest up to 500 g per plant by mid-October.
It has good resistance to powdery mildew, which is much appreciated if the weather gets complicated in October. If you also do a simple prevention with Propolix every 2 or 3 weeks, you will reach the end of the cultivation without any surprises.
Of course. Its cannabinoid profile makes it an ideal candidate for medicinal extractions: from BHO to homemade tinctures or ointments with coconut or olive oil. It is a versatile plant both for smoking and for preparing therapeutic products.

Heard good things about this strain for anxiety. Just wondering, is it good for a beginner grower or does it need a lot of fuss? Want something easy that doesn't stress me out too much.

Grew her outdoors, took to it like a champ! She's got some real chunky colas already, very resilient and seems happy in this weather. Definitely happy with the progress so far!
