Mealworms fertilizer Scarab Boom by Boom Nutrients is a fertilizer obtained from the beetle Tenebrio Molitor, also known as flour mealworms. It has the perfect balance to promote nutrient fixation and good root development.

This fertilizer is completely natural and provides plants with all the necessary nutrients, which get activated 24 h after its application and will be available for three months afterwards. This product comes in powder format and it’s dry and odorless.

In order to make this fertilizer, mealworms are fed very specifically to obtain feces with a  4-4-3 NPK balance. This complete product also includes 10% magnesium oxide and between 1-3% carbon.

The components of this fertilizer provide multiple benefits to the plants, such as improving the physical properties by making the substrate more permeable and also the chemical ones, like for example, promoting nutrient fixation. It also has biological consequences that facilitate the breathing of plants, promote root development and favor microorganism life in the substrate where it is applied to.

All of these characteristics make it highly suitable for guerrilla grows and biological crops and for the maintenance of mother plants as it provides all the necessary nutrients for the development of the plant and they are available for up to three months after its application.

Dosage and use mode

Outdoor crops:

• Before sowing, add 150 g/m2 to the surface
• During the cultivation process, add 100 g/m2 every 4 weeks

Indoor crops:

• Prepare the substrate by adding 10 g/L. Repeat the process before the start of the flowering period if necessary.
