If you use a Lux Meter in your grow room, you’ll be able to know the exact type of plant lighting that your specimens are getting and if your lights are losing power – this can be hard to see with the naked eye. You’ll know the perfect height for your lamps and when you need to replace them.

It has a button for measuring numbers from 10, to 100 to 1000 – the screen only has 3 numbers. It only reaches 200000, so if it’s showing the max number your plants are still getting enough light.

If you need to move your lights closer to your plants but if the temperature is too high, you’ll need to use different lights that don’t let off as much heat.

Growbarato.net recommends keeping your old lights that aren’t strong enough to grow with yet, just in case you have an emergency on a Sunday and our stores are closed – you can always use a bad light for one day, rather than leaving your plants in the dark which will inevitably stress them out.
