The Jiffy 7 35 mm Coco Coir Plug is an efficient cultivation system for marijuana plants that is suitable to germinate seeds and root clones. This 100% natural coco coir plug has a disc shape and it’s covered by a biodegradable thin net. Once it gets damp, it increases in size and the middle hole gets deeper. They include small fertilizer doses that feed plants with a well-balanced nutrition, offer proper aeration and improve water drainage to promote a healthy and fast growth. 

The main advantage of these jiffy discs is that they are very porous and avoid future transplants as they can be directly inserted into the final pot once the seeds germinate. This is possible because they serve as substrate during the first days of life. In this regard, they hugely minimize the stress roots would suffer when plants are transplanted from a provisional pot to a final one. 

Jiffy 7 35 mm Coco Coir Plug to Germinate Seeds and Root Clones

Using Jiffy 7 coco coir is very easy. All you have to do is soak the jiffy discs with water (pH 5.8 to 6.5 and mineral or osmosis composition if possible) for 3-5 minutes. When the discs expand and acquire a cylinder shape, remove excess moisture and insert the seed or clone of your like. Once this task is done, you’ll have a reduced and sterile substrate that is perfect to start growing your plants.
