When growing cannabis, high quality water plays an incredibly important part, and it needs to have a controlled amount of EC (electro-conductivity) in order to give your plants the amount of nutrients that they need. If you’re working with soft water that has an EC lower than 0.4 or you’re using osmosis water with an EC rating of 0.0 then you will need to add a certain amount of cal mag to increase the EC to at least 0.4.

What is Canna’s Calmag Agent Used For?

Calmag Agent is designed to give your plants precise amounts of calcium and magnesium, which are needed for various different plant processes. This product also generally increases the EC in your tank water, although it can also be used to correct nutrient deficiencies in plants when necessary, which tends to happen quite a lot when growing indoors.

Calmag Agent also gives your plants a little nutrient and growth boost; calcium and magnesium are quite important. That’s why you can get some amazing results when using quality water and a Calmag product – it’s a much more productive process than using hard water or water low in quality.

Calmag Agent Recommendations:

This product is super easy to use, although if you want to use it right we recommend having access to an EC meter , such as the Ec Meter By Adwa – if not, you won’t be able to know what quality your water is or the amount of Calmag Agent that you need to use.

How to Use Calmag Agent

• Prepare your tank or watering solution using tap water.
• Measure the EC level of your water.
• If the EC is over 0.4, we don’t recommend using Calmag Agent.
• If the EC is under 0.4, you’ll need to add in 0.1ml/L until it reaches 0.4 EC.
• Once your water has the right EC level, you can begin to add the rest of your nutrients and stimulants as you usually do.
• How to Correct Nutrient Deficiencies using Calmag Agent
• Use 0.1-0.5ml/L when watering when you notice the first signs of deficiency.
• For a quick fix, spray your plants using quality water at 0.1-0.5ml/l doses.
