SANlight's EVO series brings to market quality LED lamps and cutting-edge technology to maximise production in indoor and greenhouse agricultural crops. Indeed, the huge variety of options that this collection offers, ensures complete satisfaction for any type of grower.
The EVO Series has several models, whose names define the number of panels they have and the depth for which they are optimised: 3-80, 4-100, 4-120, 5-100 and 5-120. All these luminaires are full spectrum with uniform exposure and perfect light direction.
These LED panels are equipped with WICOP white diodes and OSRAM red diodes, as well as a variety of general connections that allow the systems to be adjusted to the user's needs. Every grower is different and SANlight knows this, offering the possibility to purchase different cables and dimmers to customise the experience.
Furthermore, they are very easy to clean and are protected against chemicals, water or any other environmental damage that may occur in the grow room (IP95). Finally, SANlight recommends using CO2 as a supplement to maximise production, as increased levels of this gas are very beneficial to cannabis plants.
Why don't the lights include wiring?
SANLight is aware of the requirements of their target audience. In addition, their professional lights allow for different wiring patterns, many of which are not standard. Therefore, if they were to include a common power cable, it would most likely be discarded in order to buy a more powerful cable, to the detriment of the customer (who is forced to pay for a product they will not use) and the environment.
A spectacular lawsuit
To demonstrate that the results obtained with SANLight's EVO series are superior to those of other lighting systems, the Austrian company carried out a cannabis crop under optimal conditions (temperature and humidity, substrate, controlled drip watering and four EVO 5-120 panels).
The results were magnificent. With only 80% light intensity, the yield was close to 2 grams per watt and over 500 grams per square metre. All this at a much lower power output to power ratio than most lamps, which affects energy costs and therefore saves on energy bills.
