How to use the Delta 9 Stimulator

Delta 9 is a flowering stimulator to maximize resin production in marijuana plants. Very few growers are aware that this product is available in our online grow shop. In fact, this is one of those 100% organic flowering stimulators perfect for stimulating your plants’ performance. So, if you want to learn more about how to use the Delta 9 stimulator, in this article you’ll find all you need to know.

Why use Delta 9?

Delta 9 acts as a nutrient catalyst when it gets absorbed by the plants’ roots, promoting the production of lots of new flower buds. Some of the advantages of using Delta 9 include:

  • Allowing for the development of long colas on the branches.
  • Initiating flowering earlier.
  • Promoting a significant resin production.
  • Increasing the overall harvest weight by up to 30%.

Please note that to achieve the desired effects, Delta 9 should be used in conjunction with other nutrients.

How to use the Delta 9 Stimulator in Cannabis Cultivation

Using Delta 9 on plants is extremely easy and depends on the cultivation medium in which you plant your cannabis seeds. Therefore, here you’ll find a guide to learn how to use Delta 9 in both indoor or outdoor marijuana cultivation.

Delta 9

Delta 9 for outdoor marijuana plants

Using Delta 9 for outdoor marijuana plants is not as hard as it seems, but one must be aware of the cultivation timeline, as it’s applied by foliar application before flowering. Otherwise, there’s a risk of achieving an entirely different result. Thus, to use it, you must follow these steps:

  • Use a sprayer to apply the first dose when the season changes, from spring to summer. Apply it all over the leaves, especially the undersides, at a dosage of 5 ml/L.
  • After 10 days, repeat the application, but this time in irrigation.
  • After waiting another 10 days, apply it again in the same dosages.

It’s important to note that the number of applications depends on the type of plant:

  • For indica plants: 3 applications (one by foliar application and two in irrigation).
  • For hybrid plants: 4 applications (one by foliar application and three in irrigation).
  • For sativa plants: 5 applications (one by foliar application and four in irrigation).

While the manufacturer recommends using it in outdoor cultivation until the end of flowering, the same results can be achieved by following the specified dosages above.

Using Delta 9 for indoor marijuana plants

Similarly, using Delta 9 for your indoor cannabis cultivation may provide great results, increasing buds’ weight, volume, and resin production. Thus, here we will explore some of the most used growing media and systems indoors.

Soil and Coco

To use Delta 9 in indoor cultivation with soil or coco, you must follow these steps:

  • You should make the first application on the day you switch the photoperiod to 12 hours to initiate the flowering phase. Dilute 5 ml of Delta 9 per liter of water and spray it on the plants, covering all the leaves and stems, with particular attention to the undersides of the leaves.
  • Just like outdoors, repeat the application twice every 10 days. This frequency should be enough to achieve maximum results in the formation of new buds and resin increase. In the last application, you will start to see the effects on the flowers and leaves, even if the buds are still small.
  • You can keep applying Delta 9 every 10 days if you want to, but you may not notice significant improvement beyond this point.

Hydroponic and Aeroponic

Using Delta 9 in hydroponic or aeroponic cultivation differs from soil-based methods since the plants are floating in water. That’s why it’s essential to control moisture levels to prevent plant rot. Therefore, all applications will be done through the irrigation water.

The dosage will depend on your irrigation water, and the way to use Delta 9 is:

  • During the week of the photoperiod change, add Delta 9 to the tank at a rate of 0.3 EC per liter of water of the tank. Then, fill the rest of the nutrients to reach the appropriate EC level. In the first week, the EC level should not exceed 1.0.
  • In the second week, when it’s time to change the tank’s water, apply again the same dosage: 0.3 EC. However, depending on the quality of water, you may need to add more or less product to reach 1.0 EC.
  • During the third week and after the first use of Delta 9, applications should cease, as the plants will have received all the desired benefits. Continuing to apply the product will only raise the EC to levels that are required for other nutrient types.

Now that you know everything to know how to use the Delta 9 stimulator and its effects on plants, you’ll only have to follow these steps described above for proper application to obtain great results.
