Indigo Berry Kush by Sweet Seeds is an amazing strain that appeared on the market just recently; it’s a mix of some awesome American strains, making for a strong, productive and extremely tasty plant. This indica-dominant hybrid was created by crossing a So G Kush (Trainwreck x OG Kush x LA Confidential) and the well-known Blue Monster (Black Domina x Blueberry). Thanks to these amazing strains, Indigo Berry Kush features some amazing and intense fruity flavors with an irresistible earthy undertone that brings Californian Kush to mind.
Indoors, these plants don’t tend to grow many side branches, although thanks to its indica-dominance, the central calyx is considerably larger than you’d think, full of amazing skyward buds. You’ll be surprised by the gigantic flowers of this strain, and you'll be left in awe with the amount of buds you get from just a few plants. You can get up to 500g with about 9 plants per square meter, as long as you use high quality soil and give your plants proper nutrients. This American strain should be ready after 60 days of flowering.
Outdoors, these plants are strong and stable with a rapid growth rate. They have a similar structure to fir trees. Indigo Berry Kush grows thin branches along its enormous central head, and it should be ready around the end of September. It has an amazing yield, giving up to 700g per seasonal plant grown in the ground or in at least 50-L flowerpots. During the flowering period you may have to give this beauty a little extra attention, so make sure your pH and Ec measuring devices are ready.
The Research and Development Team (R&D) over at Sweet Seeds spent this past year working on getting authentic American flavors into their strains. This amazing plant has a fresh lemony taste mixed with a smooth, penetrating earthy undertone. The effect it gives is quite balanced at the beginning, giving you plenty of energy to go about your tasks whereas when you’re coming down, the effect will be much more like an indica.
