To begin, plug in the press and program the temperature and time on the digital controller. While it heats up, prepare your plant material inside a mesh bag (optional, but recommended) and place it inside a non-stick paper, like an envelope.

Once hot, place the envelope between the plates, manually operate the press, and let the heat and pressure do their work. The resin will begin to emerge as sticky drops onto the paper. After a few seconds (depending on temperature and material type), release the pressure, and you can remove the extraction.
