25 mm to 1" Male Adapter is Safe and Reliable for your Watering System

These parts are capable of dealing with incredibly high water pressure, although you’ll need to make sure that everything is screwed in tightly. These union adapters allow you to securely attach any 1” piping to your watering system.

Large water pumps cause high pressure in your piping, and if you have a large pump you probably have a large watering system that needs taking care of. That’s why you should use sturdy parts like these that guarantee secure connections in your piping. Perfect to water your plants inside a Dark Room Wide Grow Tent.

Add extra safety and ensure the integrity of your grow

We recommend using Teflon in your connectors too before screwing them in just to make sure that there are no possible water leaks once everything is up and running. Some female adapters come with a seal, though, so you don’t need any Teflon there.

How to attach your Union Adapter:

  • Unscrew both parts and pay close attention to the parts inside and the order that they’re in.
  • You should now have the head of the union, a plastic clamp, a plastic washer and a rubber grommet.
  • First, make sure to place the head on the piping or else you won’t be able to after.
  • Next, place the clamp on the tube without pushing it down too far.
  • Next goes the washer and lastly, the grommet.
  • Make sure that the piping isn’t over 1 cm out of the grommet in order to make sure that it fits when you screw it in.
  • Lastly, screw the head back onto the union itself – make sure it’s tight. If it doesn’t seem to be going in, take it off and try again; don’t force it.
  • You may want to use a faucet wrench when you’re done to make sure that it’s as tight as possible.
