If you want to make sure that no odors are leaking from your grow room you’re best off getting one of these devices. This particular ozone generator is capable of working with airflow of up to 3000 m3/h. It’s 300 mm in diameter, so it’s perfect for extractors that are 315 mm, which is usually the size used for such large extraction systems.
Ozone gas essentially gets rid of odors by corroding odor particles and destroying them – however, it unfortunately does the same thing to electrical devices and metallic circuits, so you’ll need to make sure that it’s set up at the very end of your extraction circuit – the ozone should NEVER come into contact with your lighting equipment or your plants.
Make sure to leave about 5 meters of ducting after the generator so that there’s enough time for the air to mix in with the ozone and become odorless.
