Purple Paro Valley Feminized is an exclusive, unique strain that was chosen and grown by the team at Mandala Seeds in order to create a strain that’s highly resistant to low temperatures and rainy climates. Its effect is intensely relaxing even though it’s a sativa-dominant strain. Purple Paro Valley has grown naturally in Paro Valley in Bhutan without any sort of alterations or any interference from growers from anywhere else. After managing to breed a feminized version, they got their desired results although it does have issues with stability; some plants are green and others are purple – the purple variation is more common by 75%.
Indoors, PPV doesn’t tend to do too well if you don’t have plenty of space for it to grow. If you plan on doing it anyway, we recommend setting your plants to bloom (12/12h light schedule) as soon as they germinate or else they’ll easily grow over 1.5m tall. You can also grow this strain from clones, harvesting an amazing 400g per m2 if done correctly. You can also grow it in order to find and select your preferred phenotypes for making clones – some plants have a sweeter aroma than others, or some plants have a more intense color than others. This strain should take around 70 days to flower, although the purple phenotype can take around 80-90 days. Use Terpinator for best results.
This strain is used to naturally growing in areas with altitudes over 2,500m, so the results that you obtain may vary greatly from the results described here, although it’s still a sturdy strain so we don’t doubt that you’ll be able to produce some amazing results. In order to get the best possible results, we recommend growing this strain somewhere hilly or somewhere with high humidity, as this will be similar to its natural habitat. When grown in the ground from the start of the season, this strain can grow over 2.8m tall. We recommend germinating from July onwards for a more discreet and easier to manage plant. When planted later and pruned back a bit, you can grow a 2m tall plant that should be ready to harvest towards the end of October.
Purple Paro Valley produces an intense effect that’s quite narcotic – this is incredibly strange, as it’s a 75% sativa strain. This might be due to its terpene content, which can alter the effect; this strain has plenty of lavender terpenes that produce a relaxing effect. It has a delicious sweet and pepper-like flavor, which at times can also taste like black tea depending on the phenotype. Some phenotypes even produce intense cotton candy aromas.
