Amherst Sour Diesel Fem by Humboldt Seed Organization is a real trooper, as it’s quite easy to grow and gives large yields after a relatively short flowering period; 9 weeks.
Amherst Sour Diesel by Humboldt Seed Organization offers quality and high yields that are world-famous thanks to its Diesel genes, although this plant has a bit more of a compact structure, making it much easier to grow indoors and in small spaces. This legendary elite clone was actually a present that HSO received from some of their Californian friends. It’s a top-quality strain that experienced smokers will highly appreciate for its flavor, aroma and intense high.
Indoors it grows nice and easy. This strain will need to be trained if you want the branches to be able to put up with the weight of the buds – training will also increase resin yield quite a bit. You’re definitely going to need a lot of anti-odor products to grow this baby indoors, as it lets off an incredibly pungent aroma. Its high yields can reach 350g per square meter under the right conditions.
Outdoors this plant will need to be grown in a warm climate if you want it to give enormous yields, as it’s a bit delicate and can easily get stressed out due to the cold or abnormal pH levels. We recommend planting it a bit later than usual, towards mid-Spring, in order to have to grow it for less time which means less problems. They won’t grow anywhere over 1.5m, but don’t be fooled – you can get up to 600g per plant. They should be ready towards mid-October, producing some of the best possible results.
It has a citric, sour flavor that’s kind of similar to Diesel. It gives a mixed effect, producing quite an intense high. If you like making extracts, Amherst Sour can make some of the best BHO out there. It has a kind of sweet hash flavor at times.
