Most Common Rockwool Plug Mistakes

The most common mistake that growers make is squeezing these plugs to get rid of excess water – this is a mistake. If you squeeze rockwool it loses a lot of its air and humidity retention qualities. Simply shake the plug after wetting it to get rid of excess water. Remember to adjust the pH and soak them for 24h in a 5.5pH solution.

Once you’ve prepared them correctly, you’re ready to plant your seeds and stick in your clones. These plugs are available by the unit.

Hola Daniel Serban.
El taco no se debe retirar ya que contiene el núcleo principal de las raíces, introduce el taco de lana en el sustrato y retira el papel que tienen los laterales para fomentar un mejor enraizado en el nuevo sustrato.
