These worm composters are super easy to use and can provide you with a never-ending supply of organic fertilizers for your plants as long as you use your leftover fruit, vegetables and any trimmings or other food leftovers.
It has three levels, with one box in each. In order to make your own worm hummus, you’ll need to place your organic matter in the lowest box and release your red worms (you can buy them right here).
The worms will begin eating all of your plants’ organic leftovers, giving back 55% of what you put in. This 55% turns out to be a solid, organic fertilizer that you can turn into Black Gold, a fertilizer used by many organic growers around the world. The next step is to fill the second box and the worms should make their way there on their own, allowing you to remove the resulting fertilizer from the lower box. Repeat this process with the last box, and so on. You can keep this cycle up for as long as you want. You can use the resulting fertilizer without risk of over-feeding your plants thanks to the fact that it’s entirely organic. Your plants will grow like they never have before.
Make sure to keep it somewhere where it won’t get wet, as the water may filter down into the shelves and this could be disastrous for the worms.
