Rockwool Slabs for Growing Cannabis

Growing in rockwool generally means that you’ll get much larger yields than what you've been used to up until now. These slabs can be placed on 1x1 or 2x1m growing tables, and they're ready to go as soon as you get them.

How to Grow Cannabis in Rockwool Slabs

Start off by placing your already rooted clones in the rockwool - you should be able to fit about 5 clones per slab; you can grow from seed too, but they won’t all grow at the same rate and you won’t be able to move them at all once they start growing because their roots will most likely knot up around the rockwool.

We recommend using clones from the same plant in order to grow a balanced slab with plants that are all the same height. Attach a watering system, such as this 6-Outlet Adjustable Drip Manifold and do a few tests to see how long they take to dry out – they should never be fully dry.

Once you’ve finished growing your plants simply take them out and throw the slabs away – they’re easy to transport as they don’t weigh much, so they’re perfect for those growing on a much larger scale than just a few house plants.
