Skunk 1 Regular Origins

This particular cannabis strain has won various competitions and cups, including the High Times Cannabis Cup. This 75% sativa hybrid has Afghani, Mexican and Colombian genes and was created back in 1978. Dutch Passion now has a regular seed version that has been perfectly stabilized. This classic is one of the greats that everyone needs to grow at least once. Its long colas of buds are tremendously mesmerizing and its still one of the most planted strains in the world.

Growing Skunk 1 Indoors

Indoors you can harvest around 50g per plant, so about 10 plants in 7L flowerpots can yield up to 500g without even needing to use a SCRoG or SoG method. It grows quite fast, so take care with how tall it is when you flip it to flower. The best case scenario is to grow it from clones and flip them to flower as soon as possible. You also might want to have a decent odor filter, such as a 18W-500mg/H Wall Ozonizer to keep neighbors out of your business. It has few leaves, so the trimming process is a quick one.

Growing Skunk 1 Outdoors

Outdoors it’s super simple to grow. It doesn’t need much more than a regular watering schedule and a normal substrate to produce amazing results – make sure it’s planted somewhere with plenty of sun and it’ll grow up to 3m tall. When planted in March you should be able to harvest up to a whole kilogram of beautiful buds (only when planted in the ground).

Skunk 1 Strain Information

Its flavor is intensely sweet and its aroma is very typically Skunk – we all know that old school smell. It has sour hints when it hasn’t been cured correctly. Its effect is strongly physical and mental almost equally, making for a balanced but potent high. It’ll greatly increase appetite, so keep some munchies nearby – it’s also quite medicinal.
