Description

pH- Flower by Canna for Reducing pH

pH- Flower by Canna is a liquid used to lower the pH in your nutrient solution when needed; it’s used to adjust the acidity in your growing media so that your plants can absorb the maximum amount of nutrients during the flowering period.

The amount of acidity in the water or substrate determines at what speed nutrients are absorbed by your plants, as well as the amount of nutrients that they can absorb. Controlling this parameter is incredibly important when it comes to the end results of your harvest.

Using pH- Flower by Canna to reduce pH

Depending on your substrate; hydroponics, soil or coco coir, you’ll need to adjust your pH to slightly different levels, although it’s generally between 5.5 and 6.5.

In hydroponic and aeroponic systems that work mostly with water, such as the AeroFarm GHE General Hydroponics, you’ll need to keep the pH at around 5.5-5.8 during the growth period and at around 5.8-6.2 for the flowering period.

When growing in soil you’ll need to check the pH in the soil and then adjust the acidity in your nutrient mix depending on the soil. If the pH is very high in your soil you’ll need to give your nutrient solution a lower pH than the recommended amount and vice-versa; if it’s too low you’ll need to give your nutrient solution a high pH content.

In coco coir you simply need to keep the pH between 5.8-6.5 in order to get the best possible results.

If you’re using a reactive pH gauge, you’ll want to keep it yellow to light green. Dark green means that it’s too high and you’ll need to lower it with a bit of pH- Flower or pH- Grow depending on the phase your plants are in.

Dosage and how to use pH Flower by Canna:

  • Measure the pH in your nutrient solution after adding all nutrients.
  • If it’s too high, correct it by adding pH- Flower.
  • Measure it again and repeat the process if necessary.
  • Once it has the right pH, let it sit for a few minutes and water your plants.
