It can be considered as the perfect genetic to grow in large zones either indoor or outdoors. Critical Widow is one of the dominant hybrid strains with sativa preference that has rapid growth, able to create plants up to 3 metres tall, with branches full of resinous , aromatic and dense buds.

How to grow Critical Widow Indoors and Outdoors

Growing Critical Widow Indoors

Indoors, this strain starts off by growing compact and bushy, producing incredibly thick, large leaves. When it starts to properly grow, you’ll notice it getting faster and stronger, producing more branches and larger internodes, producing a wide structure that’s quite airy, allowing you to harvest large amounts of flowers per plant.

It does well with pretty much any feeding schedule and some of the most common mistakes made by less experienced growers. Plus, it’s great for pruning and training. With just a little extra care you should be able to harvest over 500g/m² after around 56-63 flowering days. We highly recommend using odor filters of some sort, such as Anti-Odor Filter Mountain Air, even before the flowering period starts.

Growing Critical Widow Outdoors

Outdoors one of two things can happen; if you grow it from the start of the season it can grow up to 3m tall, easily producing over 1kg per plant, however if you germinate them later you can grow smaller, compact plants that produce around 400g each.

It doesn't need much extra care, although we recommend using a preventive product for fungi and insects and training its branches just to make sure that its flowers aren’t accidentally damaged in the wind. When given a soft feeding schedule and guano fertilizer to improve the plant’s nutrient contention so you can harvest flowers that let off intense aromas and flavors. It should be ready to harvest towards the start of October.

This strain produces amazing aromas and flavors, its aromatic composition is essentially fruity and sweet with hints of fresh flower that give it more body. These pleasant notes can be noticed after the first hit, establishing a magnific cannabis experience around us.

Effects

Although they’re not quite as amazing as its particular effect, which is known for appearing after just a couple of drags, producing quite an intense mental effect as it has high THC levels, that can be too much for even experienced smokers. It can last for quite a while and turns more physically and mentally relaxing as time goes on.
