Growing Tangie Indoors
When grown indoors this strain grows out quite large, which is why we recommend using the SCRoG method or topping it a few times before flipping it to flower, allowing it to grow as wide as it can tall. However, if you don’t want to prune or top your plants, we recommend placing a maximum of 9 plants per m2, while giving them a maximum of two growth weeks. If not, you’ll most definitely have issues with space which can severely damage the final quality of the harvested flowers. If you manage to keep this plant under control you can harvest over 500g per m2 after just 65 flowering days; the aroma that its flowers produce may be an issue, forcing you to get a carbon filter or some sort of odor removal method.
Growing Tangie Outdoors
Outdoor growers that grow straight in the ground and give their plants a decent nutrient schedule can easily grow plants that are over 2m tall and incredibly wide, capable of yielding over 500g per plant easily. Thanks to the fact that it descends from Skunk strains, it’s also quite sturdy and can easily deal with issues such as insect infestations, bad weather and silly beginner growers mistakes; it’s a great choice for growers with little experience or for those that don’t have much time on their hands. If you want to grow discreet plants on balconies and terraces without any sort of light contamination, we recommend topping as soon as possible and then guiding its branches outwards using stakes or a net.
