Product description

If you want to fight thrips in your crops without using chemical insecticides, you can release Orius Leavigatus. It is a flying insect and a thrip predator. It also eats other pests such as red spider mites and small caterpillars.

It looks like a miniature beetle and has a long needle-like mouthpart that allows it to suck the inside of its victims.

Its way of proceeding is picking the insect with its former legs, sticking its mouthpart and absorb the inside of the victim until only the exoskeleton remains.

If the plague is well developed and there are many thrips in the crop, they can reproduce easily, going from egg to nymph state in 20 days.

In order to reduce the population the best thing to do is use a biological insecticide (like natural pyrethrin or use blue tramps). Repeat the application 3 days afterwards and one day after, release Orius in the crop, both indoors and outdoors.

About 100 individuals are needed per m2. Each can contains about 500 between, adults, eggs and larvae. Since it is an "alive product", we don't store it but contact directly the farm that produces them once we received the order. They send the insects directly to your place. For orders passed between Tuesday and Thursday morning, the product arrives at your place on Tuesday. If you ask them on Thursday afternoon or Friday, they will be with you by the following Friday.

Orius Laevigatus

Buenas, llevo tiempo luchando con los trips, he probado toda clase de remedios, pero con el tiempo vuelven a aparecer. Me han recomendado que pruebe estos insectos, ya que se alimentan de trips, araña roja, entre otros.
Saludos
