Growmax Filters and Osmosis

Growmax Filters and OsmosisGrowmax filters and osmosis – these two things are the bases of a successful grow. A famous German philosopher once said that we are what we eat. We all know that if we eat healthy, quality foods then we will be much healthier and stronger. This can easily be applied to cannabis plants, and the same amount of energy that you put (or wish you put) into eating healthy should be put into taking care of your plants and making sure they get healthy quality products in their diet.

The better the quality of the water in your irrigation system, the better the yield you will get from your grow as well as an increase in the final potency, flavor and aroma. Water quality is determined by the presence or lack thereof of organic residues, heavy metals, algae, bacteria, fungi and various chemical substances such as insecticides, fertilizers and cleaning products. Tap water generally isn’t recommendable unless you live somewhere with extremely clean water; tap water generally contains excessive amounts of calcium, nitrates, ammonium, sodium and some heavy metals such as lead, mercury, aluminum etc. Plants do not need any of these things in such high concentrations, and they can even be bad for the micro-life in the substrate.

In some areas contamination is so bad that even the rain water has an EC of 0.3 – this means that the only viable solution that you can 100% trust is to use top quality water by using an osmosis filter. Growmax filters are adaptable to all kinds of needs, both in liters per hour and in the purity levels of the water.

Eco Grow can clean up to 240 liters an hour, capable of eliminatiGrowmax Filters and Osmosisng up to 99% of solid residues and chlorine in the water. It has a 5 micron membrane, which allows it to trap any sort of impurities, guaranteeing quality water that can be used to water any kind of plant or in any medium, be it hydroponics, aeroponics or simply in soil.

Growmax Filters and Osmosis

Garden Grow, Super Grow and Pro Grow are capable of cleaning more liters of water per hour, respecting the utmost quality of the water. You’ll know when the right moment is to clean the filters by simply using an EC meter; once the EC level begins increasing you’ll know that you need to change the filters to keep the water quality on point for all kinds of plants, not just cannabis.

Apart from these filters, Growmax also offers us reverse osmosis filters. Unlike the previous filters we’ve mentioned, these ones use a different sort of technology where the density of two different liquids with two different salt levels is compensated until both liquids have the same amount of salts. This density is controlled by the passing of fluids through membranes and filters. In time, one of the two liquids will have more quantity in it than the other – this is known as osmotic pressure. Osmotic pressure pushes water with a higher salt concentration through a semi-permeable membrane until the salt concentration in both liquids has been compensated.

The result can be seen in the health of your plants, as they’ll have everything they need in each watering without having too many salts that can provoke some sort of blockage in your plant – thanks to these filters you can increase not just the quantity, but also the quality of your yield.
